This professional development is designed to specifically meet the needs of school leaders (principal and assistant principals) in schools with Dual Language Education programs. The institute will explore the many critical components of this work including, family engagement, high expectations for all students, mitigating the effects of poverty, strong curriculum and materials in both languages, obtaining and supporting appropriate personnel/staff resources and assessment in both languages. Participants will create a concrete plan to operationalize the learning from the institute.
