 INITIATIVES  

• The Maine Department of Education in conjunction with MABE recently concluded Phase 1 of the Multilingual Education Task Force (METF), an initiative to support the development of bilingual programs in Maine schools.

• Maine Department of Education celebrates a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) with France, Germany, Spain, and Taiwan to promote language and cultural education across the state through a variety of resources, programs, and activities.
