Incorporating Sheltering Instruction in Dual Language Programs

Course Description:

After observing and dissecting two model Dual Language /Sheltered Instruction lessons (one in English and one in Spanish), participants will be guided to write a lesson that includes objectives, materials, and strategies to teach emergent learners. In the afternoon participants will present and will receive feedback from the group.

Audience: This workshop is planned for teachers new in one-way or two-way programs and/or for teachers who are new in the dual language field.  Experienced dual language teachers are also welcomed.
