MABE can provide personalized Technical Assistance (TA) by consulting contract. 

MABE offers a variety of TA options that consist of tailored consultation and/or assessment with a district, school, or program. TA can be provided over an extended period of time through calls, emails, and face-to-face (in-person or virtual) meetings with identified district and school leaders or planning team members. MABE’s TA is fluid and focuses on all strands of the Guiding Principles for Dual Language Education and EMMA Standards.

Examples of Technical Assistance MABE has provided include: 

• Program Assessment 

• Embedded coaching

• Embedded Professional Development (PD) for considerations in DLBE program implementation (communications plan, curriculum alignment plan, action plan, family outreach and engagement, program structure decisions, assessment) 

• Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)

• Interviews, document gathering, qualitative and quantitative data collection, review, and analysis

• Classroom visits

• Focus groups 

• Assistance with program proposals or review of policy 

• Regular progress check-ins and meetings with stakeholders and/or team members
